I intended to post a wedding this week but I’m way to excited to share Rachael and Carlo’s Fort Worth engagement session! These two were so sweet with each other the entire shoot. It’s obvious that they are seriously smitten with one another! I have loved every minute of working with Rachael and Carlo and can’t wait to shoot their September wedding. I am so excited to share these engagement photos of two people who are so dear to me, Veronica and Ben! As my eight year old niece likes to say, Veronica is my bestie. We have know each other since the day I was born (she is six months older than moi), our mothers were college roommates and we grew up living within a mile of each other. We are truly like sisters and I love her to pieces. In September, she and Ben will marry in an outdoor ceremony in Woodside, CA. It is going to be amazing and I couldn’t be happier that she will be marrying Ben. He is one of the best people I have ever met and they are just perfect for each other. I will not be photographing this wedding because just as my mother was Veronica’s mother’s maid of honor so many years ago, I will be her maid of honor!
I recently visited these two lovelies in San Francisco and had the pleasure of photographing their engagement photos along the Great Highway , near the Legion of Honor and on the Lands End Trail. As usual the city by the bay was breathtaking and every time I go to visit, it gets harder and harder to leave.

Happy Valentine’s Day! One of the most beautiful parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to experience Valentine’s day many times a year. Every time I shoot an engagement or a wedding, there is so much love in the air that it feels a lot like February 14! It’s the new year and so I wanted to feature some of my favorite shoots from last year…
So I will start the year out by sharing some images from this really fun engagement session of Courtney and Nicholas. They love to cook together and so of course we did a cooking engagement session! It was so much fun and so tasty. I spent an afternoon with them in their kitchen as they whipped up a variety of bruschetta and watched as their love unfolded before my lens. Bon Appetit!

At every Bridal Show, I give away a complimentary Engagement Session. At the January Dallas Bridal Show, Blair and Aaron were the lucky winners! I was so excited to hear from her when she called to claim her prize and even more excited to meet the two UNT students. We met at the Dallas Arboretum on a Sunday afternoon and had so much fun walking around the gardens and talking about their upcoming Costa Rica nuptials next March. They also brought Aaron’s parents, the best man and the maid of honor. It was quite the entourage but so nice to see all the support they had. I loved shooting them and truth be told, it was hard to take a bad picture of either one of them! Enjoy!
