Sweet Love

I intended to post a wedding this week but I’m way to excited to share Rachael and Carlo’s Fort Worth engagement session! These two were so sweet with each other the entire shoot. It’s obvious that they are seriously smitten with one another! I have loved every minute of working with Rachael and Carlo and can’t wait to shoot their September wedding. Thank you to my dear friend Lauren who came out to help with the shoot. Enjoy!

San Francisco Love

I am so excited to share these engagement photos of two people who are so dear to me, Veronica and Ben! As my eight year old niece likes to say, Veronica is my bestie. We have know each other since the day I was born (she is six months older than moi), our mothers were college roommates and we grew up living within a mile of each other. We are truly like sisters and I love her to pieces. In September, she and Ben will marry in an outdoor ceremony in Woodside, CA. It is going to be amazing and I couldn’t be happier that she will be marrying Ben. He is one of the best people I have ever met and they are just perfect for each other. I will not be photographing this wedding because just as my mother was Veronica’s mother’s maid of honor so many years ago, I will be her maid of honor!

I recently visited these two lovelies in San Francisco and had the pleasure of photographing their engagement photos along the Great Highway , near the Legion of Honor and on the Lands End Trail. As usual the city by the bay was breathtaking and every time I go to visit, it gets harder and harder to leave.

Happy Valentine’s Day! One of the most beautiful parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to experience Valentine’s day many times a year. Every time I shoot an engagement or a wedding, there is so much love in the air that it feels a lot like February 14! Cooking Engagement

It’s the new year and so I wanted to feature some of my favorite shoots from last year…

So I will start the year out by sharing some images from this really fun engagement session of Courtney and Nicholas. They love to cook together and so of course we did a cooking engagement session! It was so much fun and so tasty. I spent an afternoon with them in their kitchen as they whipped up a variety of bruschetta and watched as their love unfolded before my lens. Bon Appetit!

E is for Engagement: Blair and Aaron

At every Bridal Show, I give away a complimentary Engagement Session. At the January Dallas Bridal Show, Blair and Aaron were the lucky winners! I was so excited to hear from her when she called to claim her prize and even more excited to meet the two UNT students. We met at the Dallas Arboretum on a Sunday afternoon and had so much fun walking around the gardens and talking about their upcoming Costa Rica nuptials next March. They also brought Aaron’s parents, the best man and the maid of honor. It was quite the entourage but so nice to see all the support they had. I loved shooting them and truth be told, it was hard to take a bad picture of either one of them! Enjoy!

In Love: Allison and Ryan

Allison and Ryan are in love! Their original engagement shoot had been cancelled and rescheduled due to spring rains. When we finally were able to take these photos, the weather was perfect! We headed to the Arts District of Dallas and hung out for a couple of hours taking photos and I got to hear all about how they met. My favorite part of the shoot was seeing the love between these two. I hardly had to give them direction because they are so into each other and they were naturals in front of the camera. Enjoy!Allison and Ryan are a beautiful couple and photographing them was so much fun. I am so excited to shoot their November nuptials at the Maple Manor!

Birthdays Are For Princesses

Anna celebrated her fourth birthday party in true princess style. It was a day filled with make-up, dress-up, and lots of giggle tea! I had the honor of documenting this fun filled day and eight of the loveliest little ladies. Chelsea’s Tea Room did a stellar job making Anna and her friends feel like princesses for a day. If you have a special little girl in your life, Chelsea’s is a must for adorable outfits and all things girly. Enjoy!

Jade and Shane’s Holiday “I Do”

In late December, Jade and Shae said “I do.” They are such a beautiful couple who’s love radiates through their sweet smiles and looks at each other. When they danced their first dance, the room was still as we all watched two young people in love and lost in one another. Dallas Bridal Show

This past weekend was the Dallas Bridal Show at Market Center. It was so much fun! One of the most exciting parts was the unveiling of my new booth. The photo in the middle is a 40 in. monitor that ran a slide show of 50 images. I absolutely loved it. My lovely friend Lauren spent all day with me Sunday at the show and as always, she was a huge help. Also a huge help were the fabulous Joe and Adam. Thanks for all your hard work.
